We represent public and private companies of all sizes in the design, drafting, implementation, communication and operation of employee benefit plans (qualified retirement plans and welfare benefit plans) and executive compensation arrangements.  We assist clients in the correction of qualified retirement plan defects under IRS and DOL remedial programs; provide advice on dealing with employee benefit plans in mergers and acquisitions; help companies comply with the myriad of federal regulations impacting health and welfare benefits plans (such as COBRA, HIPAA and Health Care Reform); and counsel clients on structuring nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements, severance programs and employment agreements that comply with requirements of IRC Section 409A.
